  Dynamic Investing

We maintain that traditional methods of investing such as dollar cost averaging, "buy and hold", reliance on mutual funds and investment advisors are now pretty much passe because of the Internet and low transaction fees. The Internet is an information provider and low transaction fees allow for more frequent trading. The preferred investment style, Dynamic Investing, is to:

1) Select stocks based on sound fundamental analysis.

2) Use technical analysis to determine entry and exit timing.

3) Use the Web to collect "other" important technical and fundamental information prior to making the final buy/sell decision.

We are stressing the use of the Web, in general and using Tradersweb, in particular. Trading decisions are made using the first two elements. The third is used as corroborating information.

We are heartened by recent advertisements by Charles Schwab and others touting the value of individual investors managing their own portfolios.
However, the primary point that we stress in the investment seminar is that a successful investor requires another level of information that cannot be obtained from sources such as television, news web sites and data services.

 Mission and Goal

The Investor's Guide is designed for
  • professional investors,
  • investment advisors, and
  • individual investors.
Professionals will find this service a great help in managing portfolios and responding to client's queries. Experienced individual investors will find the service a valuable aid in portfolio management.

Individuals new to investing may, at first, be somewhat overwhelmed and are encouraged to take our web-based on-line course in order to take full advantage of this service. (See the panel on the left and registration information below.)

Our mission is to help investors locate securities offering unusually good profit potential and provide technical analysis support to define attractive buying and selling opportunities for selected securities.

Our primary goal is to help investors gain real control over their investments.

The panel on the left, Dynamic Investing, describes the trading methodology recommended in Investor's Guide .It involves
1) selection of stocks suitable for long term investing and
2) timing of purchases/sales to take advantage of short-term price fluctuations.

The Services

The web based Newsletter is oriented toward the intermediate to long term investor seeking to establish and maintain a portfolio with growth and/or income as the primary objectives. Detailed data are presented on approximately 250 stocks and those data are updated regularly to take into consideration the latest developments.

The Short Term Trading Advisor (STT) provides information enabling the long term investor to select the appropriate time for buying/selling and for the trader to maximize short-term profits. Over 100 stocks are monitored daily.

The Option Trader uses the STT and other information sources to advise traders seeking profits from price moves expected to mature in a few days to a few weeks.
