An expanded description of newsletter
features which make our unique investment service a valuable source of
information for anyone involved in making investment decisions is
presented in the following.
- All stocks listed are considered to
be of investment quality--i.e.
they have displayed at least several years of generally increasing
earnings and/or dividends, and the consensus of major analysts
expects them to produce higher earnings and/or dividends in the
future.
- Stocks listed are divided into three
categories: Income (80); Growth with modest income(80);
Growth with little or no dividend income (240). Approximate numbers
of stocks in each category are in parentheses.
- The
following data and performance evaluation items are considered for
every stock listed: The most significant of these are
available in the sorted lists presented on the website. Financial
strength, estimated next
fiscal year earnings, predicted 5 year earnings growth rate, latest
12 mo. earnings, div. percentage, price change in the latest reporting
period, PE and a nominal (fair value) PE,
recent price trend, long term earnings growth pattern, consensus of
analysts recommendations, industry rank for
projected earnings growth, potential profit advantage over 5 years
relative to a 5 year treasury security, a master indicator which
essentially reduces all of these evaluations to a single penalty
function number, and a flagging system which indicates stocks that
look particularly appealing for investment and those that should be
avoided, at least for the present.
- Data presented are obtained from
widely respected investment community
sources. Examples include Investor's Business Daily,
Value Line, Standard & Poor's, Zacks Analyst Watch, and many
others which provide pertinent information.
- This information is computer
processed to clearly indicate those stocks appearing to offer the
best investment potential at any given time.
- No stock
flagged for special attention is rated a sell by any of the major
services we follow, and each one has at least a
satisfactory rating with respect to all critical evaluation criteria
such as price pattern, potential profit advantage
over a 5 year treasury security, etc.
- Growth area stocks flagged for
special attention have produced month to
month gains exceeding those of the DJIA by roughly a factor of 3:1
during the bullish 1990's.
- Fundamental
and technical comments are updated regularly on this
website--usually weekly, but more often when conditions change
rapidly.
