FRITZ HERBERT (FRED) SCHLERETH 1434 Westmoreland Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210; 315-476-6773; 6'2", 185 lb.; Excellent Health; Fluent in written and spoken German. Columbia College AB 1954 Columbia Engineering BSEE 1956 Syracuse University MSEE 1958; Ph.D. EE 1969 PRESENT POSITION Co-editor of TradersWeb, an Internet stock investment newsletter and Adjunct Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Syracuse University. At SU he is responsible for teaching and research in analog and digital circuits, wireless communications and most recently a course on applications of neural networks and fuzzy sets to financial engineering. Prior to his association with the University Dr. Schlereth was a senior engineer at the Electronics Laboratory of the General Electric Company and Vice President of Engineering for Leybold Inficon, both in Syracuse, NY. Most recently he was Senior Business Development Manager for NYSTEC a division of Syracuse Research Corporation. In this capacity he was responsible for transferring Rome Laboratory advanced technology to the private sector through partnering with existing companies and the creation of new companies. Dr. Schlereth has published extensively and holds several patents in circuits and instrumentation. He is a member Syracuse Chargers Track Club and national champion at 400m, indoors. |
