| How to use the TradersWeb Investment Advisor |

The TradersWeb Investment Advisor has three services, as shown on the home page. Each of the services can be used separately or in combination. It is their combined use that we believe is ultimately the most profitable, and is a unique aspect of our offering. The description of each service contains an extensive "HowTo" section, so that the discussion here will be brief, concentrating on their combined use. Basically the advantages of our services are as follows. If you are a long term investor, not only is it important to select companies that have unusually good growth and income potential, but it is also important to establish your positions at the right price. Our web based "newsletter" addresses selection and the STT Trader focuses on timing. Even great stocks often encounter difficulties of one sort or another. Perhaps a news story is not complimentary, an earnings report is a bit disappointing, etc. When this happens it is prudent to shift an investment; either to bonds, the money market or to another of our long term recommended stocks. Our combination of services is ideally suited to assist in making such adjustments in your portfolio in an effort to keep all stocks working on your behalf. Iif you are a short-term trader, on the other hand, you should focus your attention on some specific group of stocks. These could be mid or small capitalization companies, new issues, classical growth stocks, etc. We prefer to concentrate on companies with good long termgrowth potential, but which have a degree of volatility that often makes short-term trading profitable. High tech companies provide a typical example. Most companies followed in the STT Advisor are also covered in the web based newsletter. Lastly, the STT Advisor is a good source of information for Options Traders. The STT Advisor Graphs show many opportunities for successful options trading, both buying and writing. |
